Jon Uhler

Jon K. Uhler, M.S., completed undergraduate studies at Trinity Life Bible College (1983) and Biola University (1988).  He completed studies in Marriage and Family Ministries at Talbot School of Theology, and obtained a Masters degree in Marriage & Family Counseling at California State University, Fullerton (1992).  During his graduate work, he conducted unique research into the family dynamics of compulsive and/or emotional overeaters.

Jon’s professional experience spans more than 20 years working as a clinical therapist with individuals, couples, and families, in hospital, residential treatment, and outpatient settings. He has over 10 years experience working with adjudicated adolescents and seriously emotionally-troubled teens; as well as with seriously emotionally-disturbed adult prisoners within a maximum security setting.  Additionally, he has extensive experience working with Dissociative Identity Disorder and other effects of serious and long-term childhood abuse.  He presently serves as an adjunct faculty member for a Christian college for adults completing their undergraduate degree in Human Services.
