Parents, had I not worked clinically with thousands of incarcerated sex offenders, I would never have heard of Furries, let alone understood how such a growing movement with seemingly fun-loving adults who dress in big bright happy Furrie costumes could hide some of the most deviant of porn-fueled men & women... and afford the perfect hunting opportunity for some of the most sophisticated of sexual predators... who manage to hunt with ease, as they hide 100% of their identity from parents.

Like Predators gliding just under the surface waiting for some naive parent to allow their child to venture into those water for a day of seemingly harmless fun, these sexual predators are masters of camouflage, moving effortlessly toward the young people who happen into the waters of the "Furry Fandom."

What has been marketed as a fun and safe Movement, with all the appearance as an activity that holds the potential for hours of fun and the opportunity to meet some nice and friendly people, turns out to be something very different under the surface. But what average parent would know that, given the extent of the strategic marketing that has gone into creating the impression that Furries are a simply a growing group of fun-loving adults. Kind of the next best thing to the big mascot characters at Disney World, right?
After all, who doesn't like a parade, and a big fun group of happy people, who appear safe, and appear very different from the obviously deviant men who like to dress-up in women's underwear and drag in order to gain direct access to children at libraries, right?

After all, men who would go to the extra effort of putting on big costumes to be able to access kids, they are perfectly normal, right? Despite a parent having no idea who it is underneath that suit, we simply can risk believing that he's perfectly safe because he is doing this for the kids, right? Such men who want to create a fun experience for kids are obviously well-intentioned, right?

Prior to working with intensively with sex offenders, I would have been inclined to assume that groups of deviant men, who dressed-up in women's clothing or leather... who were clearly under the influence of porn... were the groups most likely to contain child predators.
Now, while those groups do indeed provide the perfect cover for child predators...
I simply would never have suspected that, within a group of Furrie-suited adults... under the colorful masks and bright creative costumes, and supposed fun "fursona"... could lurk some of the most porn-fueled and dangerous of sexual predators. And, that lack of awareness is not uncommon, and not by accident, as the Furrie Community, or "Furrie Fandom" has gone to extraordinary lengths to create an image that is intended to leave parents with the impression that Furries is both safe and harmless for kids.

But, after reading enough criminal histories, after conducting enough sex offender treatment groups, after listening to enough pedophiles describe their favorite methods of grooming, I felt compelled to begin alerting parents to the reality that within the seemingly playful waters of the Furries, lies some very adept predators just waiting for the right opportunity to access unsuspecting kids.

During my 11+ years working within a prison setting, working with 1000s of incarcerated sex offenders, conducting both low and high intensity sex offender treatment, and intensively assessing hundreds of sexual predators for parol, I encountered the full range of sexual offenders, learned much from the time I spent digging deeply into their files and their minds. And, it was over the course of those years that I learned much about the recent grooming methods employed by such predators... sophisticated pedophiles who will assert they are MAPs (Minor Attracted Persons) if they are ever busted.
Such men spend years saturating themselves in progressively deviant porn, to the point where they long to sexually defile children. That is how they morph into child predators, and that is why 100% of them are busted with child porn on their electronic devices, despite 100% of them denying it up until the point of arrest.
And, it was during those years that I saw the reality that even after arrest, 98% of these expert deceivers will swear they have no idea where the child porn came from, or how it managed to be downloaded on their devices, given all the security features they installed.
It was also during those years working with the full range of sex offenders, that I began to learn about the unique methods child predators use to lure and groom kids and teens, especially those who have previously been sexually manipulated and exploited, those who wrestle with low self esteem, and those who are are the autism spectrum. And, that is when I first was made aware of Furries, and how sophisticated pedophiles are able to use furries to gain direct access to such kids, while hiding 100% of their identity in big furrie costumes from parents and law enforcement.
Despite a carefully-crafted public image campaign, there lies a very dark side to this seemingly innocent group of furrie-friendly group of people, who seem strangely invested in ensuring that no one asks hard questions about why adults are inclined to spend their time playing dress-up, or that no one digs too deeply into what happens behind closed doors at their conventions and activities. And, given the growth of their conventions and social media "followers," they've been doing a very effective job in controlling the narrative that there's nothing to see under the surface, and that what they have to offer kids is nothing but fun and games. But, little will they ever disclose that, just under the surface, there's a very different reality that is anything but safe for kids..
Through my years of working intensively with sexual predators, I came to recognize a few key truths.

Sophisticated Sexual Predators know us better than we know them... so, Predators are able manipulate normal parents and the general public toward their desired goal of gaining direct access to vulnerable and trusting kids.

Sophisticated Sexual Predators understand that normal adults would never purposefully want to harm another person, thus normal adults want to give others the benefit of the doubt, and they tend to shy away from suspecting someone of ill-intent unless there is ample and clear evidence to indicate nefarious intent... so, Predators are able to make themselves appear well-meaning and trustworthy.

Sophisticated Sexual Predators are able to appear as though they abide by the "Golden Rule", when in fact that they live the the "Psychopathic Creed" of "Do unto other whatever you can, as long as you can, until you've gotten as much as you can without getting busted. When you do get busted, "flip the script", by making the normal person appear to be mean, phobic, hateful, or crazy."

Sophisticated Sophisticated Predators know that normal adults value having a conscience and would never seeks to ignore or override their conscience, thus normal people they believe others are also constrained by conscience as well. As white collar psychopath, Predators have overridden their conscience, and thus are are free to deceive at will.

Sophisticated Predators understand and employ the same methods of selection, grooming, recruitment, manipulation, and ensuring "loyalty" (i.e. submission and silence) as sophisticated cult leaders.

Sophisticated Predators know their "target population", know how to engage them, know how to emotionally manipulate them, and know how to disengage the victim's intuition, which handicaps the victim's reality testing, which enabled the Predator to cross sexual boundaries without the victim being able to discern they are being manipulated, used, and exploited.

Sophisticated Predators know that the easiest population of young people to sexually manipulate are those who've either been previously sexually used and abused, or those who are on the autism spectrum. Both of those populations are overly represented within the Trans Movement, as those populations can become easily "gender confused."

Sophisticated Predators understand the power of crafting and controlling the narrative. They understand that it is the first person to state something as fact, and state it in very matter of fact terms, creates an impression in the minds of others that will normally be accepted as true. Hence, Predators are masters at generating talking points, crafting an image, and "spinning a good yarn." If they are successful, they know that they will have the advantage over anyone who might try to unmask them. The Furries have been masterful in crafting an image of being child-safe, of being fun entertainment, and of being intellectual and "scientific" in terms of research (yes, you heard that right). Why would they be interested in that? As a means of combatting anything that might leak out about the reality of deviance within the Furrie Fandom.

Sophisticated Predators are masters at causing normal people to second guess themselves. This is their key method of disarming the ability to discern and scrutinize them, and it inevitably takes the form of, "I know what it looks like, but it's really not that. You are reading way to much into the situation, and likely projecting your own issues, bias, prejudice, or phobia onto others." This is a time-tested method of causing normal people to back off, instead of asking more questions.
So, the question is, do we see any of these in play when it comes to the Furries? Do we see an attempt to craft a narrative, and speak to certain relatively benign facts, which are able to be assessed by "outsiders"? If so, do their facts, and assertion prove to be correct? If not, then one can be reasonably assured that when it comes to important matters, that their interest in distorting facts and covering up "inconvenient truths" will be all the more intense.

Well, we do see some information on their own website that turns out to be incorrect, which then raises the question why would they try to push false information when it comes to seemingly unimportant information? Could it be to try to dissuade further scrutiny? Let's compare what they've put out as true, vs. what others have learned from their own research and interviews.

From my years working clinically with incarcerated pedophiles, I learned a number of things about how they operate, and their methods of manipulation they employ to disarm normal people and parents.

They understand the power of mind games. The Predator's most powerful phrase is, "I know what it looks like... but, it's really not that." They understand that presenting as boldly confident will disarm the vast majority of normal people, causing those people (and parents), to back off, and to drop their natural sense of discernment.

They understand the power of "The Big Lie."
They understand that normal people value the truth, so they wouldn't play fast and loose with it, in order to sell someone something that was a lie. As such, they know if they appear sincere, if they presented as being truthful, they can tell outright lies, and those lies will be accepted as facts. For instance, on their own PR website, FurScience (which is not science at all), they endeavor to present themselves as intellectually bright and honest. What they don't count on is for parents to find out that such information is simply talking points, spin, and lies. Even supposedly non-controversial facts are distorted, as they know that normal people can connect the dots. They will put up a bold front, asserting that their words and based in undeniable facts, and act with such boldness that normal people would think they are correct... for no normal person would be so bold as to go on the attack while telling lies... then to debate with experts, right? That would be way to shameless, right? Well, though not wearing a Furrie, the reporter in the following exchange in the White House... in front of media from around the world... will display such proficient use of "The Big Lie." Watch how bold, brazen, audacious he is with what sound like indisputable facts... yet, when he's busted, watch how he refuses to acknowledge that he was wrong, that he was agenda-driven and manipulating. And, watch how masterfully he shifts the focus and responsibility elsewhere. That's how they play "the game." It is this level of brazen shamelessness that enables them to play the vast majority of people for fools. They are the spin masters.
So, what exactly are Furries? Well, I wouldn't have been able to answer that prior to working with some very sophisticated incarcerated pedophiles in sex offender treatment. But, it was during years of working with such predators that the topic of Furries started to come up in their offenses and their methods of grooming. That is when I discovered that this growing "Community" is one of the newest and most effective methods utilized by pedophiles for purposes of grooming, directly accessing, and sexually exploiting minors. Why? Because they are able to hide 100% of their identity, and parents are naive to the darkness lurking just beneath the surface. It all looks so innocent, so safe, and so much fun. Yet, little most parents suspect danger lurking within those waters. And, that's when the Predator is free to hunt-at-will.

A brief look at what Furries call the "Fandom" will provide important context to see what is lurking within those seemingly safe waters. The following excerpts are provided from a fairly lengthy investigative look by Vanity Fair, written a number of years ago. Trust me, things have only become much more "colorful" since this story was first published (a link to the article is provided for you).

But, maybe a little more scholarly look at Furries from Wikipedia might help provide an overview, especially as it relates to whether there is any sexual overtones, sexual deviance, or sexual perversion acknowledge from the "Community" itself. Please pay special attention to the last sentense underlined It should be noted that "Zoophilia" is simply another word for Bestiality.
One of the most heinous of serial child predators I assessed elected to share some of the little known secrets how the most deviant and porn-saturated of twisted Predator Apologists and child offenders use Furries to access and groom kids... especially gender confused kids, the majority of whom have been previously sexually abused and/or are on the autism spectrum, thus, they have little intuitive sense to tell them when a predator is crossing their boundaries.

Simply put, when it comes to dangers posed to young and teens, hidden under those masks lies the largest collection of porn-fueled men, some of whom are child predators, who love the easy access to kids that Furrie costumes provide. They will engage kids online, introducing them to how much fun Furries are, then transition toward introducing sexualized content and ideas, and grooming them to attend Furrie events. Or, they will meet naive kids and parents at Furrie events and parades, establish contact with the kids, and the grooming then can begin.

In fact one of the most intense antagonists who made it their mission to silence my concerns about the deviance within Furries is a licensed therapist who is heavily involved in Furries. Not surprisingly, she claims to specialize in "sex therapy"... which is clearly not normal sex therapy, but simply a rebranding of a very dark and deviant kind of sexual perversion called "Kink." In sex offender treatment, the activities involved in such "therapy" are called sexual deviance. In fact, once you uncover the activities, it blurs the line of sexual assault, by playing on the term "consent." They will say the They simply like to rebrand it in terms of "play." Or, they will assert it helps with "social phobia." Yep, that's right... just your average kind of people "at play," right? Nothing unusual about helping someone with "social skills" by means of such special treatment. And, I wonder if that "sex therapist" actually bills insurance for that kind of "treatment"? And, if such a professional is "into" Furries, you can only imagine what goes on behind closed doors.

A simply google search can help open your eyes to the nature of what Furries entails. Follow enough links, and you will quickly uncover what lies under the surface of this seemingly fun group of folks.

And, given their own surveys indicate that approximately 20% of them are "into" Zoophilia... a new term for bestiality... that should be enough to help you see the degree of twisted porn-saturated adults that gravitate to the "Furry Fandom," and their conventions.

Suffice it to say, what looks like a relatively harmless group of folks is something quite different when you unmask what lies underneath. As such, no parent should feel it is safe to allow their children to venture into those waters.
